Dr. Antonia Lagos-Villaseca is an ENT Surgeon, specializing in laryngology, based in Santiago, Chile. She completed her medical studies and otolaryngology specialty at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, where she is now appointed as an Assistant Professor. She currently works as an otolaryngologist at Red de Salud-UC Christus, a healthcare network associated with Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. Dr. Lagos-Villaseca forms part of the Voice Unit at her institution, where she actively participates in clinical care of voice disorders and general otolaryngology. Additionally, she performs clinical research, with 31 publications to date. She is a former Director of the Chilean Society of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery (SOCHIORL).
  • Holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Laryngology, Phonosurgery and Airway reconstruction from Universidad Autónoma de México (UNAM), México in 2021.
  • Spent 5 months as a research scholar and observer at the Voice and Swallowing Center of the University of California San Francisco (UCSF) in San Francisco, USA in 2022.
