Dr. Helen Angulo Luna completed her specialized training at the Hospital Nacional Arzobispo Loayza through the Universidad Nacional Federico Villarreal in 2018.
From the beginning of her specialization, she showed interest in laryngology (management of voice and swallowing disorders) and excelled in the surgical management of laryngeal lesions and phonosurgery, completing international fellowships in Mexico, Brazil, and Colombia.
Since 2024, she has specialized in voice feminization and masculinization surgeries, strengthening this expertise in Malaga, Spain.
She is an otolaryngologist who began her passion for laryngology by initially specializing in the management of voice disorders, phonosurgery, and the treatment of professional singers. This passion grew even further as she developed her skills in voice-deepening surgery, becoming a pioneer in performing voice masculinization and feminization surgeries in her home country, PERU.
Dr. Angulo is not only a prestigious phonosurgeon but also an innovator in technique, as she currently uses ultrasonic technology in voice surgery.
