- He completed his medical education at Hacettepe University School of Medicine and his ENT specialization at Ankara University, followed by advanced academic and clinical training in voice and phonosurgery.
- Between 1996 and 2002, he completed his MSc studies in Biomedical Engineering at Boğaziçi University, one of Türkiye’s leading universities. During this period, his work on voice mechanics and mathematical modeling contributed to the development of innovative surgical and therapeutic techniques in voice modification surgery.
- In 2010, he founded DrVoice Clinic and DrVoice Techno AŞ in Istanbul, establishing an international center dedicated to professional voice care, phonosurgery, and voice aesthetics.
Profile
Prof. Dr. İsmail Koçak is a medical doctor, otolaryngologist specialized in voice disorders and vocology, biomedical engineer and a Homeopath.
He is caring the voice since 1993, because of his origin as a musician, he is specialized in professional voice and vocal performing arts medicine.
Until now he defined three important surgical techniques that are used in esthetic voice surgeries and tissue preservation techniques during micro laryngeal surgeries. He is the voice doctor of Eurovision Turkish team.
Dr. Kocak lives in Istanbul and performs esthetic voice therapy techniques such as voice feminization, masculinization, deepening, pitch and range shifting, micro laryngeal surgery and thyroplasty techniques. He also performs surgeries for spasmodic dysphonia, laryngeal masses such as cancer and other organic pathologies.
He is still performing on stage as a vocalist and plays string instruments.
