Profile
Thomas Lascheit is a Berlin-based voice therapist. Since 2007, he has specialized in Gender-Affirming Voice Work (GAVW), combining clinical practice with teaching and conceptual development. He is a highly experienced expert in this field and has significantly shaped the voice therapy landscape regarding GAVW in German-speaking countries.
Together with Stephanie A. Kruse, he developed LaKru® in 2013 – a structured therapeutic approach supporting trans*, non-binary, and gender-diverse individuals on their path toward an authentic, self-determined voice. His publications include contributions on voice transition as well as practice-oriented presentations of clinical concepts for effective and structured voice therapy.
Thomas Lascheit is a LAX VOX® Master Trainer and Course Instructor as well as an EFP Trainer in Estill Voice Training™. He serves as Clinical Director of Palabra Charlottenburg and Head of the “Voice Transition” Department within the Palabra Practice Group, which operates nationwide in Germany.
He regularly teaches advanced courses and workshops on voice therapy, functional voice analysis, anatomy, and gender-affirming voice work in German-speaking countries and internationally. His expertise has been featured in television programs (f.e. RTL Punkt 12) and his work appears in the
feature documentary “Wir waren Kumpel”. In addition to his teaching, he engages in interdisciplinary professional networks and supports clinicians in advancing evidence-informed and inclusive voice practice
